Looking forward to Fall!

Howdy Ya'll,
I SO have the itch to be creative lately. I am thinking about Fall, Halloween, Carving Pumpkins, Pumpkin Bread...ooo see...I can go on and on. I went out today and purchased a set of saw horses so I can start cutting wood. I cannot wait to get started. I have so many craft ideas floating around in my head. Our weather here in PA has been steamy and most unpleasant BUT it is supposed to change come Thursday so that is the day I have chosen to get some cutting done.
I mentioned before that I opened LittlePagsBoutique.com and I am slowly adding products, so please go and check it out. I would LOVE some comments here on what ya think so far!
On a personal note, I am still gearing up for my son's deployment. I believe this is why I have not been sleeping well for the last week. We have not been able to pin point the week yet that we will be able to travel to see him in NC. I also have some friends that could use a prayer or two...One just lost her brother in Afghanistan and the Other is dealing with Cancer. My heart and prayers go out to these two families.
As always Thanks for reading!

Buy & Save Handmade

We'll It has been challenging to try to post even for a second. I had to put the Princess in Lockdown as you can see just to type for a second!

Please help to spread the word about saving Handmade. EtsyKids and EtsyBabys have teamed up to show everyone the products that we will no longer be available to sell if the new law passes as it is written regarding children's products. If you go to http://www.etsykids.com/ you can read more about it. We are together running a promotion from Jan 9th to February 9th and if you go to this link http://shopetsyBABY.com/CPSC you will see the individual specials that each store is running. I will be running 10% Off your entire purchase in both of my Etsy shops: logcabincrafters.etsy.com and littlepagsboutique.etsy.com

I have been staying up late at night to try to read other people's blogs and grab others button etc... I still don't have this all down yet, I really feel like I am floundering but I wanted to say thank you to those of you who are now following me and the very nice comments you have left me...Especially those about my son going into the US Army...It is helping to renew my faith in mankind. I was really starting to think that people just don't care about anything important anymore or others... You are some good people and I am glad to know you.

I still have lots to blog about but I need to get crafty now that Ava is sleeping...finally! I need to get started on my Valentine's and Spring Hair Accessories... Always running late for everything these days!LOL oh well.

Time To Relax

We had some time to relax and put the star and lights on the Christmas tree with Ava, the rest of the ornaments we will do with all of the boys this week.

Well, I got through the weekend somehow. The Elementary School show was a success, sales were pretty good considering the economy. The majority of products that I sold were scarves, scrabble tile necklaces and hair clippies (the cheaper singles instead of sets).

Now it is time to relax and sew. I have been working on a new bag called the Porta Portese. It is so pretty and I can't wait to list it on Log Cabin Crafters. I have so many items that I have not listed. I just finished a brand new quilted make-up bag. If you are a quilter you will love this bag. The fabric I used is just too cute. I also have several hipster purses that will be added this week so be sure to check these out on http://logcabincrafters.etsy.com/

There will be lots of new things listed on Little Pags Boutique also. I have Pacifier Clips, Hand Knit Hats in different sizes and more Scrabble Tile Pendants coming soon....

I wanted to send out a Congratulations to the winner of my Credit Card Wallet on EtsyKids 12 Days of Christmas!

I had been trying to decide what type of advertising I would do next, and starting searching the web. I stumbled on Out Of The Box Sampler. I really wanted to see for myself what they were all about and were they any good? So I ordered a box. Wow, I was impressed! Just the smell coming from the box had me excited to open it. When I opened the box I could not believe the amount of samples in it. Very impressive. I will definitely be sending in some of my samples as soon as I can get enough created. Check them out for yourself:

Yikes my first real post!!!

Wow, I have always wanted to have a blog and just decided to go for it. So here it is....

I have been crafting like crazy for the last few days. I have several projects going on at the same time. My poor husband has been chasing our daughter around the house all weekend while I work. She is 17 months old and thinks she is a super hero and can climb anything and eat whatever fits in her mouth. To him I must bow.....

I entered the Elf Exchange to donate to Shiners Children's Hospital and it has been a blast. I have added a picture of my completed Elf. I am jealous, I wish I was receiving this gift! lol I can't wait to see what my gift will be! I also can't wait to see if the nice lady that I made it for likes it....

I am also working on the EtsyKids 12 Days of Christmas. You can find it on Etsykids.com and go to blog, there you can read all about it. I will be donating a credit card wallet from my LogCabinCrafters.etsy.com shop. I am also collecting entries for this event on specific dates. This is one you definitely don't want to miss out on. Great prizes and it is fun figuring out the clues to the images. While you are there check out the many talented other EtsyKids Shops.

Lastly, I am creating tons of things under $10.00 for a Christmas Santa Shop at my kids old Elementary school (West Rockhill Elementary) this Friday night, if you are in the area check it out from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

Until next time!
